You are correct. The 680 stuck in my mind because it was a good unit. Rarely had an on line faliure. It was sort of restricted to mid-consist as it never had a radio or MARY hook-up. You could see in the floor, on both units, where there was dual control stands at one time. When MRL had them, they were set up for short hood forward. The 682 was sort of a hanger queen.

Yes, they both went to scrap.
