Hi Alf-- As STASH stated in his previous post, there was a CENTER PLATFORM between the two tracks at YBI. A train going either direction (KEY train, that is) could load or unload passengers from the doors on either side, as required. Doors were controlled by the Conductor in EACH Articulated Unit, while ONE Motorman controlled the whole train itself.
