It's disgustingly sad to see the repeatedly justification by comparison...the disaster in Canada. One person operations....six lousy handbrakes set....train parked on a hill....we've had numerous disasters ourselves on Tehach, Cajon, Tennessee, Saluda...so it begs the question why weren't the Canadian Transportation Authorities taking notes THEN? Certainly they KNEW of our disasters...did they think they were just our problem? That's highly naive sorry to say. In the meantime, EVERY damn derailment involving hazmat will now forever be compared to Canada like it's OUR fault....never mind the implementation of all the new rules WE have put in place after looking across the northern border ourselves!!!
