The PSE carbarn is ( was ) located just North of Willis Ave, East of Highway 167. The area on the South side of Willis is largely industrial; I was making a pickup at a customer and saw the crawler backhoe taking a bite out of the carbarn. For the past several years the roof was sinking into the structure, so this may have been a mercy killing.
The biggest legacy of the Seattle - Tacoma Interurban ( besides Interurban Avenue in Tukwila ) is certainly the Interurban Trail, which stretches from Tukwila to Algona, WA.: it closely parallels the Union Pacific's ex - Milwaukee Road tracks for all but the Southern - most mile or so. There is a newer portion of the Interurban re - purposed as a bike & walking trail, from 70th Ave. in Fife across Military Rd. and towards Jovita Cyn. in Milton. It does not connect to the other Interurban Trail.
