Hi there, SP1269 : The TIES you inquire about are supposed to be VERY similar, if not the exact thing, as the ones used at the Los Angeles Live Steamers in Griffith Park in Southern California. "Bill Zingheim" is the main guy whose SHOP in Port Hadlock the track is being taken for complete reconditioning and knows the answers to most of your questions.
