It's been a long time since I have been thru the transbay tunnel, but that big lead-in pic seems wrong.
The tunnel lining in it is obviously made up of bolted segments as used in bored tunnels.
As the transbay was constructed with long floated sections built in a drydock there is no obvious reason to use segments.
Any tube riders out there to help??
