If you read through the thread further down, the answer is there, but I will re-iterate anyways.
But first off, there's still a lot of track work to be done on the YW, and it was nothing short of a miracle that they made it from Yreka to Montague with out going on the ground some where. There hasn't been any real track work done on the YW since 2011, other then the cutting of weeds. Now, for the industries, they simply will not do business with as long as Court Hammond is involved. Court Hammond is a con man, and even if he's in a situation that's making him money, he can't leave well enough alone, and he has made Timber Products mad one too many times. As for the shipping of propane, the spur and the section of mainline that served Suburban propane in Yreka was pulled out in 2012 when Court Hammond was on his scrapping spree. But at it's max, propane shipments never really went beyond one or two cars every couple weeks during the winter. Not nearly enough to keep a railroad in business.
With Court Hammond still on the YW, a lot can go wrong. And there's still a lot of bills, leans, and employees that Court Hammond has yet to pay.
