Alco-GE joint agreement, GE w/ Cooper-Bessemer

Some obscure information I stumbled across - didn't know if anyone here had anything to confirm, deny or add ....

We know Alco and GE had an agreement between 1940 and 1953 - but this information claims it was a "production agreement", and in 1950 GE assumed sales and service responsibilities for Alco. Previous accounts had been that GE has marketing authority for Alco's diesel-electrics since 1940? GE and Alco had a long relationship, jointly building some early electrics the the Ingersoll-Rand boxcabs. Even after the divorce, Alco primarily used GE electrical equipment. And GE did used Alco engines, and the USATC MRS-1 units appear to have been a GE design and bid, but subcontracted to Alco for construction?

I found some brief mentions of the GE and Cooper-Bessemer relationship. It mentions that C-B had to beg to get GE to buy anything from them util they finally bought one. GE had previous relationships with Ingersoll-Rand, and was an early steady customer of Cummins. The two suspects for the one engine would either be Monongahela Connecting (MCRR) #150, a 78 ton centercab built in May of 1936, or the more likely suspect would be GE subsidiary East Erie Commercial #13 61 ton built in May of 1937. It then mentions that five were built for small connecting railways - is this the reference to MCRR 100, 150, 101-102 and they counted EEC 13 again? They do mention the Ford engines, and then the 5 to New Haven. It claims that these locomotives were built by Cooper-Bessemer using GE parts - but I don't see how. These are far more likely designed and built by GE for the Cooper-Bessemer engines. These all had either the EN or GN series engines in either 6 or 8 cylinders, which seemed to be the C-B engines used by GE and other builders until the FWL-6T (GE 70 ton) engines showed up, then the EN and GN engines in new locomotives seems to have ended not long after. Was GE the only one to build locomotives with C-B engines before 1940?
