Once a week during the summer, SCBT&P operates a Mount Hermon Charter train (typically on Wednesdays around 9 AM). When the Mount Hermon runs, it's a busy day on the Santa Cruz Big Trees and Pacific, as both the regularly scheduled Beach Train and the charter are both out on the road. The Mount Hermon reverses to the Mount Hermon Christian Conference Center along the gently used trackage. It's a fun operation to follow, if you ever have the opportunity.
