Looking at Google, it's pretty clear that the r/w is gone, completely, above the old sand sidings. End of track appears to be behind the Zayante FD; after that, it's been nearly wiped out for an equestrian facility among other things.

There have been several studies over the years about rebuilding the line over the mountains, with or without using the old tunnels etc. It's always been far too expensive for even the most fanatic of the rail promoters to work with.

As for the Mt. Hermon charters - where do they load up? Looks in Google like there's a place they could use near the pool etc. where Park Way crosses the tracks, and Park Way goes up into the main part of the grounds. Or do they just back across Graham Hill and load along Roaring Camp Rd., which would not require crossing a bridge? Either way, it's a mile or less above Roaring Camp itself.

If their SC&MB connection ever reopens for general use, would San Lorenzo Lumber across from Roaring Camp take an occasional load again? Looks like a pretty empty site in Google, so chances are ... what ... not good?
