More Problems in the PNW

Amtrak reported earlier today that BNSF has been blocked between Kelso and Vancouver, WA.

Right now, the transitdocs map shows No.8 at a standstill between Mukilteo and Everett.

And BNSF today issued this statement warning that the potential exists for additional landslides in the region over the coming days. Photo shows last weekend's slide at Katka, Idaho.

It's been raining most of today throughout the Northwest (snow at the higher elevations), with precip expected to continue will into Saturday.
