Obviously, San Francisco must be a great place for some people if they are willing to pay some of the highest amounts for real estate in the US and it is major travel destination.

Making this relevant to AP, with BART, CalTrain and Muni cable cars, light rail and vintage streetcars, San Francisco has one of the most extensive and varied rail transit systems in the US. Many years ago, an ABC special called San Francisco a transit junkie's paradise.
