And BOB2 thinks this is normal and appropriate way to insure votes? Sure sounds like a run-around to me--irregardless if it helped the people the in the congressperson's district. More "closed-door" politics (although in this case, the door was open or opened).
The most ludicrous statement I've heard said by a politician is "We have to pass it to find out what's in it."
Common Sense and integrity are things of the past.
