Some of the rail guns went to the coast artillery, between WWI and WWII. And, at least one was even stationed in LA, down at Fort Macarthur, in San Pedro. There was a coast artillery rail gun, which can be seen in the YouTube videos of the famous "rail parade" on Alameda Street, in 1939, held for the grand opening of LAUPT. Don't know if it was a Baldwin, though.
