Really !!! Only FIVE HOURS to drive from LA to San Francisco ??? HAHAHA Los Angeles City Hall to San Francisco City Hall is 400 miles +/- 10 miles. ( I can't find my old Household Goods Moving Guide to confirm the mileage for sure.) You would have to AVERAGE 80 MPH, on very crowded public highways, to cover that distance in only 5 hours. That average would likely include one or more business transactions with the California Highway Patrol, which would force you to drive even faster to make up for the time lost parked on the side of the road.
