Cutting-edge car-maker Faraday Future is busily developing all-electric vehicles fitted with all the latest smart technologies at its Harbor Gateway headquarters while, just a few miles away in Torrance, U.S. Hybrid is building fleets of electric vans, buses and trucks.

They are both part of a burgeoning industry of advanced-transportation companies across greater Los Angeles that are replacing the region’s decimated manufacturing sectors.
