Those are all completely grade-separated rail rapid transit systems with elevated or subway alignments. Except for one or two Chicago Transit Authority lines, I cannot think of any heavy rail rapid transit system with at-grade crossings with the local road network.
SMART is better compared to commuter rail systems which typically have at-grade crossings with streets.
