No, I'm not in the photo (I was in Homestead, Fla. on this date with the U.S. Army assisting with Hurricane Andrew relief operations), but I do have a thought about another possible 3751-to-San Bernardino opportunity...

Metrolink is due to extend its operations from the current terminus at the former Santa Fe depot to the downtown intermodal transit center, and this might be an event that could bring out the 4-8-4 (as I recall, Metrolink did this very thing last year for a new depot dedication on the Palmdale/Lancaster Line).

Assuming that the 3751 could make the curves on the line into downtown, why not?
