Amtrak seems to believe that moderately clean buses are preferable to quite late trains. Of course, with emnough warning, I and I am sure others would do the detour for the sheer pleasure. Did that back in 73 by getting a ride from friends to KFS and train back to Oakland. Big fun full moon IIRC.
