Ventura County Railway activity

I hear there has been a lot of activity along the VCRR
Patterson branch to the SeaBee base in Port Hueneme.
Anyone know what's up? Renewed auto traffic, military
loads?

BTW, when the military loads go to the base, do the small
VCRR locos do the job or does UP lend bigger power? The
rail was very light last I saw.
