Yes, but where (National City or San Diego) did Santa Fe serviced it's steam engines and later, it's diesel engines?
I believe I read that California Southern had shops in National City (roundhouse)? But what about later dates? Also read that NC&O had a roundhouse at 24th. Street in National City, but I don't know where did the Cuyamaca and Coronado had theirs...
While we're at it... When did Santa Fe quit passenger service to National City?
