Um, no, I'm in the correct forum.? It's a forum to discuss railroads, not a forum to advocate for favor all rail projects or ideas for rail improvements, regardless of their merits. There had bee plenty of commentary on AP against proposed and ongoing rail and freight improvement projects.
Additionally, my challenges to your commentary do not make me anti-rail.
The fact is that Washington, like other states, has a program for public investments in freight rail improvements.
As for reviving the Mikwaukee Road corridor as a cross-state rail route, you still have not provided any evidence of a feasible plan to do so that would withstand a legal challenge from BNSF. Until you do, all speculation as to what Washongton State decision makers prefer is irrelevant.
You have also not made the case that such an investment would be prudent given Trump's stated intentions of pulling out of trade agreements.
