Definitely not tier 4 power, huh?
A question I'll pose that has occurred to me in the past regarding cab rooftop lights. When/which RR's used these? Did the RR's really think they enhanced visibility? When did their use start to diminish and end (don't see them today). A rotating beacon would seem to be less distracting in the cab than a strobe flashing all around you all the time. How annoying were Mars/Gyralights to cab crews?
