Well, idiot, that trip was CONTRACTED by the railroad! Thus the "contractor", i.e. the Friends of SP4449, were/are under no authority/right to announce ANYTHING to ANYBODY! It would have been up to the contracting railroad to release ANY/ALL publicity or announcements that THEY desired.

Again, it was NOT up to the Friends of SP 4449 to announce ANYTHING on behalf of the contracting railroad!

If the contracting railroad had wished to do all the items that YOU desired, then they would have done that. Obviously the railroad had much different goals/thoughts that you!
