I wasn't prepared for this news at all. I know he told this Altamont Press audience about a health issue a few months ago, but his spirits seemed so high lately that I assumed he had gotten over it.

I will really miss seeing his name show up in these threads and his spirited comments which I always enjoyed.

I am still shocked by this news.

To the younger folks, be kind and respectful to your elders. Getting old is tougher than you know.
