I happened to have a packaged set of NWSL (NorthWest Short Line) nickel plated scale model railroad wheel sets sitting on my desk. Not surprised to see that the package has a warning directed specifically at California consumers.

CALIFORNIA WARNING: This product CONTAINS CHEMICALS which are known to The State of California to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm.

This is the sort of thing that provides me much amusement and bemused gratitude to the bureaucracy for brightening my day. Many things can endanger reproductive health, such as human behavior, but I must assume that NWSL wheel sets would rank far below many other threats.
