Although I don't see Sounder trains all that often, my observations over the last several months is that the afternoon commute trains usually are all 7 cars, and when watching at the Kent station stop, they tend to be very full. I understand the mid-day trip that started last year is only a few cars (3 maybe?) but I am sure others can comment with more solid information.
