The village of Casmalia starts just south of the south switch Devon. The Vandenberg AFB property line is above the tracks and at the very west edge of Casmalia. The Air Force police are rarely in that area. Never had a problem with photography there.

Surf is different. While photography is possible you're more likely to have the AFP come by and ask questions. Still, it doesn't happen often.

The AFP are a bit on edge right now because they are having a problem with trespassers coming on the base property via public roads.
