I have doubts about how many boardings there would be in places like King City or Soledad, or Grover Beach for that matter. There's got to be a happy medium somewhere between what amounts to an all-stops local with 26 intermediate pauses between LA and SFO, and SP's Daylight, which even during its last year under private operation made only 7 stops in between.
