Years ago the tunnel partially collapsed taking the street with it. The city/county filled most of it in at that time. I had heard the eventual goal of a cut and cover tunnel and to extend the train to the depot site, all it takes is $$$$$$$. The Catholic church (St. Mary's in the Mountains) is a definite concern as far as not disturbing the ground.
