Depends on where you put it. If you want to hit cities along the way the cost of right of way will
be enormous. It doesn't fit on the non-existent median on 99, there's not much room adjacent to
the UP but there are people who would ride so you pay the price. Or, you go down the I-5 corridor,
it's cheaper, faster, and no people. Or, maybe you go down the middle through Hanford and some
of the places along the BNSF, cheaper corridor and access from the larger Valley towns. Plus you're going to need some power plants (that people won't want) so you're stuck with being away
from your ridership base to get the thing in under $50 billion.
