Maffei Rd. was passable a couple years ago for my little sedan in the dry season. Wet season, or after this year, might be impassable. It takes you down to a DFW access point/parking lot. Then you have to walk along levees to Wingo. It's a long walk and might not be possible if the lowlands are wet as they could be now. The other way is much faster but it is trespassing and seems the locals don't take too kindly to outsiders.
