Interesting to know he was also involved in that after seeing he's planning on reviving the old Tonopah and Goldfield RR. Whipple seems to have an interest in the Northern Nevada area.

Setting Patrick aside, which has seen considerable increase in industrial activity. WHY would he build another line from the old CPRR to the Virginia City area when theyou could use the old Nevada-California RR from Ft. Churchill like John says, to Mound House via Dayton using the old C&C.

John, what kind of business would you expect between Carson and Virginia City? Aggregates is the only thing coming to mind... but what specifically?
