Well heres a change of pace for you lot...a spanking brand new rail line!

This is a go and still quite hot off the press. It's about 145miles of track in total over about 85miles point to point pending preliminary terrain design changes encountered.

Theres a catch (oh leave off, it's only a minor sigh), with the contracts freshly signed, it is now in the next phase of planning and design stages and moving forward, picking up momentum this week and is expected to continue to accelerate to meet the deadline. We have planned a scheduled start of construction in 2010 but expect to be there wheels down much, much sooner for thorough re-con.Team (Eng & Field)leaders are being and have been located and assigned accordingly.

Now incase you have no clue where this line is, it is in Arctic Condition (read barren rock, perma frost and tundra conditions, on the North American continent and you can see Greenland on a clear day. Pioneer conditions will be the normal, read construction pre-fab modular work camps. Knowing you are now part of a greater food chain,should keep all involved on the ground on their toes and focused.

So all that said, knowing this is a once in a lifetime experience to be shared(hell the bragging rights alone should last a while), as things progress the gameplan is for updates when able to be posted here and breif progress reports when available, when things get closer..(and hopefully, according to Al Gore) warmer.
