The shop in Tenino, WA., has seen many operators since Weyerhaeuser Timber Co. built it in 1981. Originally referred to by WTCo as Western Junction, the shop also saw use by American Orient Express ( or their contractor ), who maintained part of AOE' s passenger car fleet there. Several AlCo / GE Shovel - Nose diesels of White Pass & Yukon were also rebuilt there.
