Southwest Idaho question

On the Idaho State rail map, there is a UP branch line originating at Nyssa, Oregon, and evediently extending into Idaho along the south bank of the Sanke River. It once ran to Marsing, but apparently has been cut back to Homedale [or further].

What is this line's history and current operation?
