So in your perfect world, nothing ever breaks down or has a problem.

But here in real life, problems do happen. For various different reasons. As stated by another respondent, the problem could have very well been caused by a rider. So please step off your high horse for a bit and accept the reality that s**t happens.

As for the A/C, yesterday's initial departure delay in my understanding was due to A/C problems and mechanics were working on it and thought that it was fixed.
