Not quite. Although the saying on the RR is: "get disabled under workman's com, lose your house; get disabled under FELA, keep your house". However, there is that one big caveat under FELA, it's up to you to prove the RR didn't provide a safe place to work. If you can do this, bingo, but if you can't, you don't get diddly squat. You have t prove the company was aware of the condition which caused your disability. Not all FELA cases are decided in favor of the injured employee.
