I was alluding to the old SN route that came close to SP Durham, went southeast to Thermalito, where a branch to Oroville went east. (The main went south accross the SP at Live Oak).

Should have just left the Modoc in if there is (which there isn't) enough traffic to run south out of Oregon and use the ex-WP into Nevada. The BNSF could better use their route straight out of K'Falls to Keddie and east on the UP with their trackage rights.
