You are about 3/4 of a mile from the Expo Line which will get you to Downtown LA (the Metro Center) in 45 minutes. The 733 bus is closer but takes quite a bit more time.

It is undoubtedly a niche market, but it doesn't take very many people to fill a bus with 24 bunks. It's no 747.
