I relieved a road crew on an arriving westbound train, that had "died on the law" waiting to get into the Taylor A yard with the train. I was working on an extra yard job, which sat at Mainline Tower, at the Taylor C yard, along SF Road, for 12 hours still waiting to enter the A yard. We never moved a wheel, and then we were relieved by yet another extra yard job. There had been a wreck which tied up the top end of A yard......
