If Steve Lee was still in charge of the UP Steam program, I could see this having a higher chance of happening. Doyle and Steve are close friends so things would have a better chance of coming together....like the Northwest Double header of 844 and 4449 ten years ago. You never know though, the top management of the railroad along with special interest influences would be the one to make the call for SP 4449 to be apart of the celebration. Not Ed Dickens, he would just need to focus on his own engine and team on their part of the journey.
