Dickens has said publicly more than once that not
one single member of that UP crew was anywhere near
qualified to do the jobs they were doing. None of
them were real engineers, real conductors, real
welders, real machinists, real firemen, etc. and
that is why he had to get rid of all of them as
quickly as he could when he took over. That included
HotWater, who only knew all the wrong ways to do
anything.

He probably thinks the same about the 4449 people,
and he doesn't want to have anyone else on the podium
at the 150th because they are not worthy.
