Although the railroads want a one many crew, I doubt it will happen for a couple of years...The Railroads are crying, it costs too much money for the two man crew, but the Railroads are making money hand over fist and while they are making all sorts of cost cutting, it all adds up to making people look good and the RR's making more money, while the employee's have to meet these new demands. PTC while it is a good thing, it is also a SOB, many delays, the more computer wise the railroads become, all sorts of new problems pop up....PTC has cost the railroads more money in the start up and the continued use and it still hasn't cleared up on most railroads....If the railroads want to increase the return, they need to take a big look at their management on all the poor decisions they continue to make....
