Siskiyou Rail Traffic

The Surface Transportation Board field Hearing in Eugene is just a week away on August 21st in Eugene, Oregon.
While the hearing will have the Coos-Siskiyou Coalition tied up with information presented to support the Feeder Line Application from the International Port of Coos Bay, the light at the end of the tunnel atop of the Siskiyou's may be seen soon.
Attention has been focused on the Coos Bay Branch but the coalition is also working on moving freight over the hill again.
An Emergency Service Order request has been in the works for the past eight months is expected to be filed soon. A Mid-West operator for the operation has been selected and will be announced upon the filing.
