Now that's an inscrutable remark. I know you can use a blacklight to spot a bacterial infection on the skin, but...

Inscrutable is a good reference - I am thinking of China which has laid down a whole bunch of rail lines in true draconian fashion. I guess that's great things. On the other hand if you have seen the current maximum leader's grandiose processions of late China is sure beginning to look more and more like North Korea. Maybe that is what America is lacking to do "great things" - the cult of personality.

Perhaps some monumental statues of Jerry Brown leading the people on the Long March to Palmdale?
