Not "stationed" per se. The Millbrae Local would take their beans and spot time there, then would wait there til after the afternoon commute curfew.

On the other hand, for years it was SOP to have the afternoon Bayshore hostlers use a switcher as a "horse" and stand by with one or two commute units on the freight lead at Visitacion during the afternoon commute curfew, in case any of the trains started having locomotive problems after leaving SF.
