New Tri-Met RDCs

Tri-Met in Portland is going to up their RDC counts by two more cars. Currently, they have two former Alaska Railroad cars along with a number of Colorado Railcar DMUs for the WES commuter rail between Beaverton and Wilsonville. The cars are now enroute on the BNSF from the Trinity Rail service in Dallas. The cars are expected to arrive in Portland within the next two weeks.

The cars were acquired to meet increasing passenger loads on the WES service.
