Cal Zepher detour of Aug 12

What ever became of the Cal Zepher detour of Aug 12? I saw eastbound #6 pass through Crockett on time in the morning. I checked the Amtrak website Train status several times that evening and they said there was a service disruption which means the Trains are not running. So what happened? Everything seems to be back to normal today.
