VIA trains - running quite late

Hello, lately I've been poking around [asm.transitdocs.com] and over the last few weeks have noticed that VIA 1 and 2 have been very late....10-15 hours late. I thought VIA trains were "supposed to be better" than Amtrak.

At the opposite ends, I have noticed that Amtrak 5-6 (CA Zephyr) and 7-8 (Builder) have been doing very well lately, generally.

Why is VIA suffering time keeping? I thought they had reliable F40s? I always think of Canada as "the better" place than US, so I hope that is applies to their trains as well.
